The Next Phase…

Let’s talk about travel.

I don’t consider myself to be very well travelled. Perhaps moderately travelled, but not well travelled. I have been blessed with some wonderful experiences, (I will share some of those with you in future) but I truly believe I am am just entering the “adventurous and on-the-go” phase of my life. I have been a mom for 29 years. A teacher for 23. A wife for almost 21. We have been on some great vacations and my “side-hustle” has given me reason to travel to some interesting cities, but for the most part, my focus has been my family. Building my life here in Alberta has been my priority. I wanted roots. There are many people that prioritize travel from a very young age and I understand that. Why wait? I assure you, there have been many times that I dreamed of throwing a few things in a bag, pointing my finger to a random spot on a map and flying to somewhere new, but I also crave a grounded life. I love community and out door rinks and hockey tournaments with cheap pizza and late night laughter with other parents. My favourite moments are always when my home is filled with people. I love my RV lot in the pine trees. I love the excited familiarity that each spring brings when we get to open it up. I love my dog at my feet while I sip wine in my comfiest clothes.

In short, I am incredibly grateful for the life we have built and the people that have filled my home over the years, but the reality is this. I am entering a new phase of my life. My baby will graduate high school this spring. My eldest moved in with a lovely girl and is starting to plant his own roots. My middle is finding himself at university 6 hours away, and it is time for me to discover what I love and explore the next phase of my life.

Here is the plan. It is time to focus on the things that excite me like my health, my husband and my hobbies. I will also focus on my business a little more. It has been one of the great blessings of my life and I have learned more about myself in this space than any other. Conveniently, my company is adventuring into a new frontier as well. We have reformulated and repackaged and now we are expanding into the LIFESTYLE SPACE on top of our growing product line!!

Discounted Travel. High End Experiences. Curated Escapes. Last Minute Getaways. All the Excursions. It is all new to me, but it feels just right. I call it divine timing. Alignment. Maybe I manifested it. Maybe I am just lucky. Whatever it is, I am excited to share the next 20 years with you!!
